As I read the article of "Why is Only Autumn the Only Season with Two Names" by Forrest Wickman, so I found a poem. A Classical Poem, written by Sir Walter Ralegh entitled "The Nymph's Reply to the Shepard". Simple and beautiful as yes, I do enjoy reading poems.
When the title itself said 'Reply', it means it does replying or responding on another poem which is "
The Passionate Shepherd to his Love" by Christoper Marlowe.
Looking at both poems, gave me such a feeling of my own feeling as Nymph; the one who reciprocate the Shepard's feeling. I don't think so Nymph is such a person / creature that loathes the Shepard. However as on feminine part, some times, women rejecting on something as due to some reason of fact of her lives that out of her hand that will torn the love eventually one day. Crush the Shepard's dreams is a safe way before it's too late; at least, the relationship still not move more further ans the Shepard can keep living and moving on and seeking another decent lady.
Maybe Nymph did wish that the Shepard is the right one for her soul mate....Maybe..
